Eventhough David wholehearteldy supported God's call for Solomon, do you think it was ever painful for David to watch the plans for the temple go forward knowing this was not his gig? Just because you accept God's "No" with grace and gratitude does that mean it doesn't sting? If David ever experienced moments of pain during this process how do you think he handled it? What about any of you?
